Why hasn’t the leg been amputated?

Recommended Posts

Greg has been good for us, but kickers like relief pitchers in baseball are year to year propositions. Greg has looked like ass since this summer. Hes not getting any blame for last week, but did anyone think he was going to make that kick? The answer is no.

in 2024 and NFL kicker needs to be close to automatic from 50 in perfect conditions (Greg had the wind).

Time to amputate the leg and bring in that other dude who actually kicked well this summer.

The guy who kicked well this summer is playing in Washington, I believe.

I agree the excuses for Greg on that last kick are a joke. That was only a 50 yard kick with the wind in a light to no rain. That ball was shanked 20 yards right. That kick needs to be an 85% make at least.

Since when were 50 yard kicks automatic? Also, Hackett could have easily chosen to run it on 3rd and long before the kick and make it a 46-45 yarder

And if they would have ran and gotten stuffed you’d be complaining that they didn’t throw to try and make it a shorter kick. Have you seen kickers around the NFL this year? 50 yard kicks are nearly automatic

In a dome yes.  Not outside in miserable New Jersey conditions

Any kicker who misses ANY kick should be fired! Miss an extra point? His contract should require him to return his entire signing bonus plus to do 50 push-ups mid field while the fans booooo!! PERIOD!

At least Gregg the Legg didn't miss a 42 yarder that would have put us in the AFCCG last year! (Sorry BIlls, too soon?)

Kickers are not like relief pitches.  Jet fans are now just regurgitating bad Evan Roberts takes.

Greg the leg is getting old.  Its happening to justin tucker now too.  We have no other choice so we need to ride w/ him.

I thought we got a HOF QB so we wouldn't have to worry about kickers and long-range Jersey weather kicks as much.

How many TD's did our HOF QB and Savior get us Sunday?  We cutting him too?

A fanbase that will play QB Excuse Twister with Zach Wilson will break its own bones to put its limbs at right angles for Aaron Rodgers.

Seibert, the guy we let go to Washington is a 6 year vet who only started his rookie year. wanna know why? because he is a 83% FG kicker. including going 2 for 6 from 50 plus yards.

thats why he isnt here.

and looking at Zuerlein last year was a great year from him, but thats not who he is. he also is a 83% FG kicker. last year he was 92%. thats the 3rd time in his 13 years career he was above 90%.

and for his career his is 49 out of 87 from 50. thats only 56%. so this is who he is.

if you look at PFF about half the league has a really good kicker. maybe there is not enough of them to go around.

And kicking very well for them.  He went 7-7 in FGs against the Giants in week 2.  You read that right.  7 FGs made (in 7 attempts) in 1 game.

Does seem like we have a kicker problem. Not ideal.

Yes you poo hoo that kicking isn’t a big thing.   Well as you saw last week it can win or lose you the game.  Don’t ever sell your kicker short. They are big part of whether a team wins or loses .

OMG... You are still alive... Good, I thought you might have lost it after Tae is leaving for the Jets for only a third rounder.. That is gonna hurt... And Max is out too... But you guys will overcome that, right... They are old and don't help your team.

MAXX looks like he playing.  Let’s see what the Raiders get for Tae , and if it’s even the Jets he’s going to. The Jets lose this week , you know they will be upping the offer bigtime.    Raiders don’t have to do anything with Tae this year.    They aren’t going to just give him away.     A Rodgers could get really hurt this week, and than the Jets have no interest in Tae.

Good god.  It's one bad kick in sh*tty weather conditions and you want to get rid of the guy. If he made the kick you would probably be on your knees writing your appreciation post.

He has been missing numerous kicks since preseason.  Let’s not be revisionist.
