CanadaSteve
Best of both worlds for everyone! https://www.drafttek.com/2018-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp 10 NY Jets Josh Rosen UCLA QB +7 6'3" The Jets lost to the rival Patriots this weekend, with a freak call reversal of what looked like a legitimate TD by born-again TE, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, still making fans scratch their heads. Despite the loss, the Jets are showing that tanking the season is not in their mind-set at all this year. Guys like Damario Davis (53 tackles thru 6 games) and Jeremy Kerley (19 catches on 19 targets) are just two of the players stepping up on both sides of the ball. Should Josh Rosen actually fall this far come Draft Day, you can't help but feel there will be a frenzy of activity from QB-needy teams looking to trade up ahead of the Jets. Rosen looks like a Top QB prospect so far this year, and It feels unlikely that he will make it this far. For now though, the Jets look to have found their QB of the future without having to tank their way to the 1st-overall pick. -Rich Tinley, Jets Analyst

ZachEY
I'd be shocked if the draft order looks anything like that, outside of 1 and 2.
UntouchableCrew
The top 2 QBs almost certainly to 1-2, and I'd be anything they both go top 5.
Stark
lol.... well, where the hell can I sign up for this?!? Highly unlikely, but I love it. If you told me today that we get Rosen, I don't care at what pick #, I'd be happy.

Keep Petty and draft a pass rusher.

Remember last April when people were debating whether the Jets should take Trubisky at 6, and many posters thought it was not worth it? And Adams was projected at 2 or 3? The Bears traded up to 2 for Trubisky. Rosen can play QB. He will go top 1-3.
jetrider
Might as well keep McCown ... he's cheaper and battle-tested. Both have decent arms and accuracy but very spotty pocket awareness - the other important ceiling definer. You can't teach pocket awareness. Your brain~eyes are either wired for it or not. Petty is the same deal. Darnold is going #1 and should. We gain nothing talent-wise from Rosen. He isn't worth a high Jets pick.
varjet
From where the Jets will pick, the QBs and OTs will be gone, as will Barkley. I can see them take Malik Jefferson, Landry maybe who will also be gone, or the top rated CB.

ChuckkieB
This is a terrible mock draft. Unless Rsoen breaks his right arm, he would never fall to 10. Cleveland passing on a QB seems absurd also.

I think that team will be a bit demoralized even if he does come back and he won't come back sharp or healthy. More importantly, I don't think he is coming back. The Indianapolis Star's Zak Keefer conceded Wednesday he "wouldn't be surprised" if Andrew Luck (shoulder) missed the entire season. Keefer's Indy Star colleague, Stephen Holder, also suggested Luck is no lock to play again this year following the setback in his surgically repaired shoulder. To put it frankly, the Colts lied to their fanbase. Owner Jim Irsay stated as late as the final week of preseason that Luck had a chance to play in Week 1, and the Colts activated Luck from the PUP list in what was perceived as a sign he would play inside the first seven weeks. None of those things happened, and the team is now claiming a setback. Luck should have been dropped in re-draft leagues long ago. At this point, we expect Jacoby Brissett to be the Colts' rest-of-season starter. Oct 18 - 7:18 PM Source: Zak Keefer on Twitter
