The Patriots quarterback, whose emails were revealed in the NFLPA lawsuit to appeal his four-game Deflategate suspension, jabbed at Peyton Manning in an email with a childhood friend. Kevin Brady (no relation) sent Tom Brady an email link to a Grantland column comparing the two Hall of Fame quarterbacks. “Thanks popa,” Brady responded in emails posted by The Boston Globe.

Manning, 39, faltered toward the end of season, reportedly battling injuries, and losing to the Colts in divisional round, while Brady, 38, won his fourth Super Bowl. Manning came up in one other the email exchanges.
