Know who is most responsible to get a defense off the field?  THE FING DEFENSE!

We put ALL of our resources into the D, we have a Defensive head coach and everything we do favors the D.  And the D when we really need them falls on their ass and people have the gall to blame the offense.

They absolutely had to win that game to have any chance at playoffs which would have been difficult anyway. 6-10 here we come.

This is so like the Bowles era Jets...

Losing games that actually mean something, and winning meaningless games when the pressure is off...

Winning this game could have at least made the rest of the season interesting going into a bye...

But no...

Just like the Bills loss to miss the playoffs 2 seasons ago, these Jets choke like their HC...

More importantly they held to 15. Pay no attention, TOP was 28/32...i'ts not how much time you have it's what you do with the time. D also had crap field position at times due to O not moving chains with deep punts and bad coverage by ST's. O also went 3 and out all day which not only killed possible point production but also didn't help by keeping the opposing O off the field which is something though not vital in this game is essential against a Brady type.

I'll gladly bet that he is more likely to get an extension than be fired.  the people in charge of this team and those that have influence on them do not actually watch how the team is coached.  All they see is 'the team was projected to win 3 games, they win 5 thus the coach is a hero'

Agreed.  This team may as well have kept REX. The above is his playbook.  

What does Bowles bring that REX didnt?
