Not a particularly exciting list of options out there, but take your pick.

Write-in votes also acceptable - got bored putting names in, so missed a few guys.

Where's Cairo Santos?

He was supposed to be our kicker last year before he got injured.

He was playing well this pre-season too before being cut in Tampa because they just drafted a kicker in the 5th round.

EDIT: Didn’t realize he signed with Tennessee. I’d go with Parkey. Was one of the better kickers in the league prior to last year.

I read somewhere that you have about a 32% chance of making a two pt conversion, which are much better odds than our kickers making an extra pt. So my gut says just go for two.😀 Seriously, of all the guys listed, if his head is on straight, Parkey would be my choice.

Really anyone that's been around the league for a while and has shown some level of success.  I don't care how old he is.

Mike ******* mcagnananan. In my vision of hell for him , he'd be in the fourth circle, taking game winning kicks for eternity.

Douglas?

I hated Mac before hating Mac was cool but Douglas almost deserves to be fired today for such obvious negligence

Is Vedvik really a punter and that Jets had him mistaken for the PK?  That could explain a lot regarding their ability to evaluate personnel.  LOL

He did both in college, and some teams like him as a Punter while others see him as a Kicker.

Actually, trying to be both may have hurt his chances of excelling at either. He needs to pick one spot and concentrate on that.

about the only good thing to say about vardvik at this point is edwards did have trouble placing the ball for the fg attempt.  not saying it would've been good but these are small things that can lead to big failures.

Didn't he retire?

Because he got cut and no one wanted to pay him

Jank would probably come here if we offered him a contract

Would he be in shape and ready to kick though? He might weigh 300lbs by now.

Yep.  And he wasn't great towards the end by any stretch.

But he'd be worlds better, even off the couch, than Cantizaro, Bertoilet or the chuckledick excuse for a kicker yesterday.

Alos, I hear Nugent is also a FA.  Also be better option.

And you somehow think he could be as bad as Vedvik?

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora

The Jets will be holding a kicking tryout tomorrow with the intent of finding a new guy. Another rough outing for Vedvik who end up looking for his fourth team since last month
