I’d actually be surprised if these guys and most of the young nfl players weren’t out partying most Sunday nights win or lose.

Mid twenties, plenty of money in comparison, even fringe roster players, and especially in NYC

I totally agree with you 100 %  but I don't need to start hearing about Darnold on Page Six.  If he wants to be a true leader this stuff can't happen.  You never know how other teammates view it. He just finished with this mono BS.   If he wants to party then be discreet about it and we dont need to know about.  I am all for him getting everything he wants and all the booty he wants but I dont want another Sanchez.  The NY press will try to set him up.  Keep your nose to your playbook.  You said your focus was to win out the remainder of the season so I dont need to hear you're "wasted" after beating the mighty Raiders.

Oh come on - let's not be reasonable and sensible. Let the trolls enjoy their whine and cheese.

Indeed, the team made NFL history by losing to two teams who were 0-7 or worse, but anything short of not completely absolving the QB of blame is trolling.  Ok...

If you watched that game and thought it was even remotely Sam’a fault you simply don’t understand football.

Quoting statistic is meaningless in a game line this.

Unless that stat is sacks allowed. Or drops. Or Quinnen Williams's tackle numbers.

There's being objective and placing blame where it should be - what's going on here is downright trolling at its worst.

Being objective =\= The Offensive Line is Bad, therefore Sam Darnold is Good, which is what 90% of this board’s actual argument is.

So then why doesn't 10% of the board post the Oline sucks rather than trying to bait others into an argument about Darnold or Gase.

Follow he money and Vegas betting lines , if the money goes heavy on Balt - we have a chance. If the public is scooping up the inflated line for the Jets - expect a blowout.

The reason the house always wins is because it doesn’t gamble. Lines are created to equalize action on both sides. Vegas collects their ten percent vig and voila, easy money. Any handicapper who picks lines that don’t equalize action are quickly out of a job.

If it was a big conspiracy and Vegas already knows the outcome, why do lines move?

Totally not ready to play today. No imagination on play calling, Defense looked lost the entire forst half.

game plan was fine early.  Execution was awful... First half was on the players..  No adjustments and continues lack of execution in the 2nd half on the CS and players

Right but there's only so much leeway a house can shift spreads to counteract late action pouring in . In that case they essentially have to leave it luck or other means(NBA/NFL refs - cough cough) . Casinos don't profit by relying on luck .

The defense adjusted; the offense did not - did they not adjust because Gase sucks, or because the adjustments didn't work; was that because the adjustments sucked - or the players, who played above themselves, failed to do it today? I fear the problem is a little bit of both - the question is whether Gase can win with better players?

That is the question... Hopefully we can get better players to answer that question.

Thank goodness. For a second there I was concerned about our QB throwing for 5 YPA and no touchdowns against the 31st ranked pass defense in the league

Worse, it could be the OL not doing anything, other than to eliminate seemingly every big positive play with a well timed penalty.  Or letting the QB either be sacked, knocked to the ground or rushed.

Hard to adjust an offense when the OL can't block.

Its pretty straightforward.  Between the poor blocking, being manhandled by the Bengals and the innoportune penalties, there isn't much that will work

Agree

There has to be better OL on the waiver wire or on other teams practice squads this group is the worst in the NFL.

I agree.  When your LT holds in the end zone and gets a safety, that says it all.

I still can't believe I watched an OL block someone down low and wrap his arms around the falling player for the worlds dumbest holding call that erased a 30 yard passing gain.

Embarrassingly bad

It’s games like this, where it would be mutiny if they didn’t take a tackle in the first round of the draft.  Truth, that early 3rd rounder from the giants could be gold, that is a great slot to get a center or guard.

You took that away from the game?  Players don't get blamed for not playing.  Grown men need to be told that on any given Sunday.....
