Popular Post Dcat
has nothing to do with us. We don't have any stars that have expired contracts and have been franchise tagged like Jones. We have one star who has 2 full years left on his contract... so ask me how I feel 2 years from now, when franchise tag becomes a possibility. 5

Jones finished out his 4 year contract before demanding money and Jones was then appropriately paid for his performance. Jamal should really learn from this. When Adams finishes his 4th year, he can negotiate too. (Even though he has 5 yrs on his rookie contract, just to be fair)

Popular Post KRL
Jones is an impact pass rusher who happens to play DT. He's not just a DT, Jones is behind Aaron Donald right now but its not crazy that he could pass him in the future: https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/3044859/chris-jones The pressure/stats that Jones generates is ultimately what we need to see from Quinnen Williams to justify him being picked at #3

Embrace the Suck
I just looked at their cap space and wow... It's amazing what you can do when you aren't overpaying past their prime FAs and journeymen larger than needed contracts. I guess you can avoid doing that when you draft well and are smart with your FA signings...

Leonard is a space eater at best. Yet, another steal that fell to the Jets 6th overall, which I guess is better than 3rd overall.

Yeah, well Leo is going to be disappointed unless he performs quite well this year. You can draft a guy in the later rounds to replace his production. People will say "Leo gets doubled all the time", but so do a lot of other guys who consistently put up impressive numbers.

I think he’s loving all thes recent signings. I wish Douglas would’ve traded him, or signed him when he could have for 15 or 16 per for 5 years. You keep your good players by paying them, and letting them go a year early rather than two years too late. I also think when your best employee outperforms his contract, I think it’s good business to reward him. Especially when you have very few good employees.
