I think the recent outliers like Tom Brady/Patriots and Peyton Manning/Colts have given current NFL fans this unrealistic notion that you can keep running the tables... The reality is, for like 90% of teams/players there's typically only 2 maybe 3 year window to go get it, before contracts/age/injuries upset the balance...
