definitely sign him and give him 20 carries a game - keeps carter and the rest of rb’s fresh and healthy - also takes pressure off of young zach - no reason to play rookies when you have grizzled veteran to handle the load

Absolutely. Not Gore’s fault Gase overused him, especially when it was clear the 2020 Jets weren’t going anywhere and he should have given the younger running backs a chance.

The key phrase is "was a good player".  No team will use a valuable spot for Gore at this point.

If they did, then that would speak volumes on the state of that team's running backs.

gore’s biggest accomplishment is playing a really long time - which is hard for a rb - he got a lot of carries/yards on lousy sf teams and then bounced around picking up playing time on other lousy teams- he deserves credit for being tough and available week in and week out but overall a highly overrated player
