Gase was bad, I didn't miss Bowles because he was even worse.  Saleh is going to be a very good head coach.  I know we have been through a lot of bad football the last decade but we need to have a little patience with this staff and team.  I think next week is a big test for this staff with their first bye week.

I am curious though, why do you think Bowles was worse than Gase? Bowles will get another HC job soon -- if Arians retires this year he'll prob be the next Bucs coach. Gase never will be given another shot.

Every Patriot assistant goes on to be a complete and utter failure when they leave New England for a head coaching position. They all try to emulate Belichick, and it turns out they all do a great job of it.

I think you'll find most all-time great Coaches winning percentage take meaningful hits when coaching without their all-time-great QB's.

Kinda makes Joe Gibbs look even better as an all-time-great Coach, since he never had an all-time QB supporting him and still won multiple Super Bowls, mostly with here-and-gone type QB's.
