Yeah I think he would’ve been fine. He was like a wild stallion. His arm was strong but erratic. He showed toughness and grit and was fearless with his legs. If you understood what makes a player great, you knew it was just a matter of time with him. I remember going back and forth infuriating guys here with lists ranking Mayfield, Jackson and Allen ahead of Darnold every couple of weeks his rookie year.
