Popular Post BigRy56
Not surprising. MLF has a lot of potential - that’s why he was being talked about as a future head coach when we hired him. He’s smart to stand with McVay and learn before he takes the next step again 6 2

JetsFanatic
This board is hysterical. All I read was we had to fire LaFleur. Now it’s “we’re downgrading.” Lol 1

varjet
When the Jets were 7-4 we were worried about losing MLF to another team, like the Panthers, as HC. Then the team collapses, MLF moves on (his contract could have expired) and he is going to appear on a rebuilding team one year out from the SB. So good for MLF if he gets another OC job, and he will learn from McVay, who has now rebooted (and I am sure he will want to spend more time with his new wife). MLF played this perfectly, but now the Jets need to pay for an experienced OC. If that does not work (which is unlikely), they will need to bring in an offensive HC in 2024 and a whole new staff.

Flea Flicking Frank
MLF going to be McVay's OC is more like being an offensive assistant. Its perfect for MLF who McVay can oversee

carlito1171
being a coordinator under a proven offensive Whiz would probably be the best thing for him at this time.....could help him fill in the blanks from his failures here running the entire show under a defensive HC

RSJ
Would I be shocked if the main issue last year was that MLF was the only one coaching while Saleh let the players get away with everything by whining to him?
