Rams interested in hiring LaFleur

When the Jets were 7-4 we were worried about losing MLF to another team, like the Panthers, as HC.

Then the team collapses, MLF moves on (his contract could have expired) and he is going to appear on a rebuilding team one year out from the SB.

So good for MLF if he gets another OC job, and he will learn from McVay, who has now rebooted (and I am sure he will want to spend more time with his new wife).

MLF played this perfectly, but now the Jets need to pay for an experienced OC.  If that does not work (which is unlikely), they will need to bring in an offensive HC in 2024 and a whole new staff.

The Jets were 14th in the league in scoring before losing Breece and AVT. LaFluer got scape-goated.

Hall got hurt after 6 games and the only offense was handing the ball off to Hall.....I think the next OC can figure that out...the hysteria over a OC who couldn't figure out how to score a TD in a playoff run is bananas.

LaFleur truthers should all make the trip to the West Coast with him....

A decent chance the Jets are going to downgrade at OC…

That’s pretty hard to do.

Game planning?  Poor

Scripted plays?  Worst in the league

Play calling?  Poor

In game adjustment?  What’s that?

QB development?  LOL

being a coordinator under a proven offensive Whiz would probably be the best thing for him at this time.....could help him fill in the blanks from his failures here running the entire show under a defensive HC

McVay will game plan and override play calls he disagrees with.  Offense will look good and MLF will turn this into HC interviews

Oh man. I hope Matt Stafford is ready to spend time in Mike LaFleur’s sadistic tough-love torture chamber. McVay might want to put Dr Phil on retainer.

Who knew that 2022 would be the last season Matthew Stafford ever throws on 1st down again?

Wow.

People are going to be shocked at what job LaFleur gets.

The problem is and always will be the QB until they bring in a veteran starting caliber QB. Changing the OC without changing the QB will do nothing to solve the Jets issues. It's like putting lipstick on a pig

LaFleur will look great with an actual QB
