EVery contract is guaranteed to a point. Watsons just happens to be guaranteed over the full life of the contract. Calling NFL deals non guaranteed is a bit misleading. Plus in Jackson’s case you have to cough up two firsts.

not really sure why the NFLPA is so focused on looking out for the top 1% of players with the guarantee contract.  The pot that gets paid out to players is the same no matter how it's broken up among the players.   more guaranteed contracts just means the vast majority of other players get less money.

Same reason the MLBPA didn’t want ARod to sign his deal with the Red Sox years ago.
