It is one pick. in one round. one player on a team of 50+. Even dropping a few slots you are still getting a shot at potentially a great player The positions of greatest need in the draft will be gone by the time we pick. There are like 3 guys who could have stepped in day 1 and helped. MHJ. Joe alt and Fashinu who will be gone when we pick. So we'll be stuck picking someone like Mims or odzune who aren't as good. Need more work on a pro level and have a lower 1st round draft grade. That's a horrible sign The coach and GM suck. Give Douglas a lower pick and he has a good chance of screwing it up. He is a garbage GM. And Saleh is a garbage HC. This win doesn't help anything. But still 1st round players who may very well be long term reliable starters. there is so much that can and does go wrong (injuries, busts etc) in guys careers you cant go crazy over dropping draft slots...there is still a ton of uncertainty with these guys. Would it shock anyone if we got alt and he ended up getting hurt all the time like we've seen. Or we get him and he plays well...but other things go wrong with the team and here we are again 6-9 in 2024 It's one player, in one round. It's just a couple of slots drop. Nothing cataclysmic.
