Because if he does which wr should we have drafted at ten after mhj, nabers and odunze were off the board? We need to protect Rodgers so he can do what he has done his whole career and make mediocre receivers look elite. Lazard is a great example of this. 4
Popular Post PepPep
I'm just going to go ahead and say I've been predicting this pick for a couple of months now, and have made it known on the forum, lol. And the way the draft fell...no Alt, no Odunze, no Nabers. It was the right pick to make. I would have been fine with Bowers, but getting a potential Franchise pure LT who excels in Pass Pro like Olu. Not only to step in for Smith when he will inevitably miss time in 2024 but to take over permanently to lock down that position in the future seems like a much more important endeavor and in general, direction to go in for the Jets.

Larz
6 minutes ago, T0mShane said: I like the pick. It’s fine and good. Ten year starter, but won’t help Saleh steal any cheap wins in 2024, so everyone is still on pace to get fired. I feel like we own a 2012 Honda Civic with 250k miles on it and we just leased a ‘24 Honda Civic to add to the fleet. Will McDonald is the Vespa we keep in the garage but never use. Side benefit: No Bakhtiari, which leaves Aaron Rodgers dead alone in his Jersey manse all winter wondering why his $20 mil in donations couldn’t push RFK over 3% in Washoe County. If we look back at this draft and say JD blew it, he had too much oline, he had oline starters on the bench, the division is ours

Would’ve love one of the WR, but who cares about bowers when you’d have a bum behind smith. Let Olu compete/learn from one of the best to do it in the last decade. There's depth at WR and we have extra picks to trade up with now. I think it was a smart, safe pick.

BigRy56
Fashanu! Jets made the smart pick. They hid that well - I didn’t think they’d go his way because they wanted a swing tackle but he may be the best pure LT not named Alt in the draft
