I get that Gallup is not a huge loss, but you claim he was, at best, competing for 5th WR, but only name 3 WR. Can you name any other WR on the Raiders? I think Keelan Doss is one of the more experienced dudes on the squad. Tre Tucker has some promise, but he didn't even have 20 catches with a sub 60% catch rate. His rookie year couldn't hold a candle to Elijah Moore's and ask a Jets fan how counting on that for year 2 worked out. Raiders number 1 and number 2 Wr are two of the best route runners in the league. Neither are the speed demons. . Tre Tucker is the guy who can take the top off - he opens up for everyone ( his speed opens it up for everyone) . To protect themselves you would think ex Charger Jalen Guyton - should get the 4 . He has top speed . ( insurance for tucker injury) You want to score quick. You put Guyton in slot and line up Tre Tucker in Backfrield at Rb. There isn’t a safety or lb that staying with Tucker one on one. Ask Derwin James . another Wr is uDfa Tulu Griffin another guy who brings the speed element. KWilkerson ex patriot offers the sizes( has good chemistry with AOC) . Dj Turner - probably makes it fit special teams only. Haven’t seen him do anything as Wr but he elite special teamer. Raiders are going to play with two Tightends majority of time , and sometimes three Tightends occasional at times( . B bowers and M Mayer are going to lineup everywhere. Both are going to line up at Wr too. Both these Tightends will be top five tes in the league.
Joe W. Namath
Raiders won 8 games last year. They will win 9 or 10 this year. Solid team, up and coming coach, 2 teams in their division are rebuilding etc. Id hammer the Raiders over if i was a betting man.

He had a couple of NFL seasons back in 2020 and 2021, but has not done sh*t since. Those other dudes have been around and not produced. Guyton and Wilkerson are both 27. I think Griffin is interesting, but you are talking about some Malik Taylor level street free agents solidly in that competition. I guess Bowers as "big slot" is the main argument. Do you not understand a third string Qb who threw with the third stringers all preseason .( Jimmy G , B Hoyer) . When was obvious the third stringer was the best Qb on the roster, and they switched coaches. Antonio pierce named him starting Qb. That means you had new offense coordinator ( never called any plays in his life) your basically drawing up plays in the dirt. With players he never played with - no chemistry. Why when he was in trouble he threw to Tre Tucker because he worked with him the most. Now throw in the fact you’re a rookie and you have a first ballot hall of famer Wr who wants the football. Instead of looking at the best option ( best matchup when teams are heavily blitzing you - you trying to force feed it to the hall of fame Wr. That first read not open right away tge Qb probably going down. Also Raiders know how inexperience he was that they relied heavy on the running game. You can’t open the offense up it doesn’t matter what you have at skill positions. He has a whole offseason and a whole year not to mention has experienced offense coordinator. Raiders have the deepest Tight end room and Getsy offense utilizes the tightend bigtime. the Raiders with the addition of the Tightends and the Jets defense ends are basically lbs good luck not getting the ball run down your throat.

Raiders basically going to play with two wrs. ( combination of D Adams, j Meyer, and Tre Tucker) they are going to be heavy double tight end. Harrison Bryant is no slouch - he came over to play in Luke Getsy te friendly offense but his luck they drafted B Bowers he can play at fb or Te . . Probably keep four Tes - Zach Gentry 6’8 - good blocker and redzone threat They have so many people that can play in slot ( B Bowers has some serious speed , Rb Dylan Laube- watch this kid they think going to be bigtime weapon , J Meyers - excellent blocking wr too . Again Michael Mayer has arrived. It’s night and day . The only point was Tom Telesco former charger Gm and now Raider Gm is very familiar with Guyton His speed is nice insurance for Tre Tucker . Raiders brought in Joe Philbin who done wonder on the offenseline. Eventhough he’s not the offense line coach , he will have big say on that group. OilfieldJet
Because of where they were taken in the draft, these guys will always be comparable. You have to respect Diggs making the politically correct statements to engender goodwill with his new teammates, and Stingley has played very well. https://www.chron.com/sports/texans/article/stefon-diggs-derek-stingley-texans-19589250.php Texans have talent, a very good to excellent QB, solid coaching…..they will be fun to watch this year.
