Jetsfan80 122,885
Even though you can never count on a schedule being difficult or not on paper only most years, that's brutal. Just look at the QB's we'll be facing alone: Peyton, Rivers, Stafford, Rodgers, Ben, and of course Brady twice. Brutal.

Think of what Idzik can do with the draft position we'll be in at 2015 after having 12 in 2014. Also, it'll make the home games interesting at least with good talent on one half of the ball at all times. Edited December 17, 2013 by BleedGreen314

Rex as a DC in the NFC would make sense. Perhaps St. Louis? Word is Jeff Fisher has taken defensive play-calling away from his current DC. And Schotty-Rex getting paired together again would just be too perfect. Edited December 17, 2013 by Jetsfan80

But point being teams less familiar with Rex's defense generally struggle a lot more than those that face him again.

pedro55 62
i have an idea let's fire the Head Coach who knows how to beat all these guys (and has done it before) and bring in an offensive head coach. Yeah and the next week he'd play Matt Flynn and make him look like a HOF QB. That's the problem with Rex, the team is consistently one of those "get super hyped for the Pats or manning" and then get blown out after a bye to Bills who were playing practice squad receivers and EJ Manual. This has been Rex's MO. So great they beat somebody like Drew Brees one week only to get blown out by the Bills after a bye. That sure doesn't make for a good head coach. And being the Jets will now have another non-winning season, it also kind of means the Jets have had 1 real winning season under Rex over 5 years. That first year was a great playoff run, but we all know the Colts sitting Manning and half their starters for an entire half was a big reason for that team to even finish 9-7 instead of 8-8. I loved that run, but that team was another Rex 8-8 squad. Great coaches don't coach for 5 seasons and really have one winning season.

GenoandtheJets 57
6 wins tops it only improves if Geno gets help around him such as wide reciever, tight end, more solid offensive line. Hopefully the new coach will have an effective strategey on winning.
