We have already used a second round pick on him, and next year is Petty's last contract year. Nothing will be better for the Jets and their fans than if Hack could turn out to be a number 1 or 2 QB and spare the Jets from having to spend another pick on a backup QB for a couple of years. So we should root for him and support him. For all of his apparent ineptitude, he stays out of trouble, does not embarrass himself off the field and appears to try hard.
