Woody hired Tanny, Idzik and Mac as his GMs, with bad coaches to boot.  He did get to the AFCCG two years ago, but after the Parcells/Mangini magic wore off, they were done.  

Chris now appears to get it. 

That is what is important.  Idzik and Mac were both terrible in both similar and different ways. 

The Jets are in such a hole now it will take at least another year of Darnolds rookie contract to fix.  But I think they are on the right track.

Lol. The fact is that the Jets are an ascending team with a young roster and a potential FQB. People need to let it go. JD will take us the rest of the way. 10 days to some meaningful football. I don’t remember the last time I’ve been this excited.

He’s on IR. He had to clear waivers before we could IR him so he did and we did.

You are making assumptions about the Jets' motives for releasing him first..  They may just have wanted to give him the opp to be out there just a little earlier than most others.

It doesn't matter because he still has to go through waivers. It's not like he's a free agent.
