Does AB get into the HOF?

Recommended Posts

His numbers are rivaling Jerry Rice but he will be remembered for his infamy, attitude, rape cases, helmet drama and being flat out mentally ill.

They gave T.O a hard time and made him a 2nd ballot pick. Can’t imagine how they handle AB. Especially if this is it for him and he goes out on this note.

Correction: his numbers for MOST categories are NOT rivaling Jerry Rice.

But the question still stands.

He hasn't played long enough. If he doesn't get back on the field and actually start playing he'll never get in.

7 pro bowls and 4 all pro's in 9 years should get him in even if he don't play again.. He had more receptions in a season then Jerry Rice ever did.. Hell Lynn Swann made it in and never had a 900 yd season or more then 61 catches in a season..

9 months ago yes, borderline 1st ballot

Now he gets in by veterans committee in 50 years.

When you put it that way, he should get in, he just self destructed.

He didn’t play enough otherwise yes. Jim Brown, LT, Ray Lewis, OJ, etc are in the HOF so AB would of been and still might be if he plays again.

Factoring only his on-field football career, nine years is plenty long enough, especially when you consider Brown’s 2013-2018 seasons are probably the best six year stretch a WR has ever had.

I’m not gonna speculate about how his antics drop his candidacy.

Antonio Brown hasn't even  been charged with a crime yet. Someone made an accusation. and that's enough for you guys to eliminate the best WR of the last 10 years from the HOF?

Theworst thing we know he actually did is get bounced from Pittsburgh and talk his way out of Oakland.

Get over yourselves.

Antonio Brown is an entitled, enabled criminal and a prancing, obnoxious jackoff. Floating this as being potentially attributable to mental illness absent any kind of legitimate reason is abhorrent. Rape causes mental illness. Mental illness doesn't cause rape.

I’m assuming posters are assuming that he is going to get charged with something because he’s been released.

As far as his numbers on the field it’s a new NFL so you can’t compare it to Rice and Swann but you can compare to players now and I change my he hasn’t been in the league long enough.

Absolutely not.   Pete Rose in the making

I think AB is a scum bag but I'm not judging him as a person just what he did on  the field.. Some people let their emotions overrule their intellect..

Wow.

According to witnesses, he threatened to punch his boss and called him a racial slur in front of the entire team.

And by his own admission jerked off onto his trainer’s back.

There’s probably so much more we don’t know but to me just based on the two above incidents, he’s a bad person.

Don’t disagree with the resident Giant fan posing as a Jet fan.

Your posts will get deleted.

AB is a total piece of sh*t and shouldn’t be anywhere near the HOF.

Sorry about the 'politics.' I was legitimately under the impression that you would rather get called out for minimizing rape than for not knowing sh*t about football. The Great Antonio Brown is in fact just the most recent in a long line of receivers who turned into pumpkins after being separated from the quarterback most of them couldn't stand.

Hey look more people getting themselves banned.

We give people chances. There are times when that is a mistake. This is one of those times.

Mods please see my note on the one click ban in the mod forum. People want to post racist stuff and politics, well then it's goodbye for them.
