Popular Post KRL
It's shocking how little production Jadeveon Clowney has had since breaking into the league: https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/16734/jadeveon-clowney Five years playing opposite Watt and he never had 10 sacks. And one year in SEA (a good defensive team) generated a whole THREE sacks. Who is going to drop 20+ million on him??? I hope its not us 7 2

He has an 87.3 PFF score. He is a good football player. But he seems to play with no heart and is not the pass rusher he was expected to be. He is basically an EDGE version of Leonard Williams, but a bit better. I would not mind him on the team, for not alot of money or commitment

Wouldn’t be wise to pay him a lot of money.

Melly-Mel
Good player, but too much money, and injury concerns makes him a no go for me.
Skeet Ulrich
He's a really good defender against the run and is a pretty disruptive pass rusher(doesn't get the high sack totals but definitely generates pressure/hurries and has to be accounted for on passing downs). Is he what people expected him to be out of college? Probably not but he's a very good football player. He is a bit of a china doll, however and doesn't seem all that eager to play through minor things that other guys would. It'll be quite curious what he gets in a FA contract. I hope its not us that's the way i would look at it. he played opposite the best de in the league in watt and didn't produce much from the edge. he may be a decent player but not worth top dollar. Tinstar
If the Jets should manage to to acquire Trent Williams, then they should go after Clowney. If they should be lucky enough to acquire both then they should forget about resigning Anderson, attempt to trade for Harris the CB from Denver and use their 1st round pick on a receiver. Use the 2nd round pick on an OT and proceed accordingly Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
Adoni Beast
Clowney is a very good player, not worth anything near 20 mil. He’s a 12-15 mil player living off of a rep that never hit elite status.
