A word on accountability on my end:

It turns out, I do not need to handle any money at all.  GoFundMe allows you to assign a beneficiary.  I have reached out to Maxman to get an email address.  He will be able to add his own banking information and withdraw directly.  If you are in anyway concerned, and that's holding you back, you can confirm with him.

On fees, GoFundMe passes along their cost, and as you may have seen, asks for a tip to support the site.  The fees are .30 cents per donation plus a 2% transaction fee.  IMO, pretty minimal.  As you can see, as of this screenshot, Phil and family will have access to $3,010 as soon as his account if verified.

I am going to assume that MAX is OK financially and instead, as we have had breast cancer in the family, I will make my annual donation in the name of Jetnation.   We went through this process 3 years ago.  Prayers @Maxman  I ran the breast cancer 10K last year, will wear my Jets shirt as well this year.

To be clear, Max perfectly fine financially.  This is about a bunch of people coming together, who can't drop them off food themselves, and doing the next best thing.  Max created this community for all of us, and by my estimation, while he's going through this, we're simply saying, "let us buy you dinner."  As of this moment, it looks like we're able to do that for 2.5 months.

When my father-in-law battled cancer, the outpouring of love, support, and casseroles was truly a blessing for everyone helping with his care. I love that you put this together. ♥️
