Not to mention it was an out route that anyone who has ever watched football realizes was intended to be thrown all the way out to the sideline, if that was even the target thrown to (which was probably not preferred).

Wilson's stupid ass actually threw the ball behind Uzomah, almost putting extra effort to keep the ball in the field of play.

And yet….Their Qb still threw for 300+.  Because from time to time in this league, your QB has to do that for you to win.  Zach never has.

Zach didn’t win the game. But he didn’t lose it either. Breece and the defense won this game.  Exactly what we asked of him. The INT was a fluke and the fumbles were recovered. I am not overly excited about Zach, but we ask him to not f up. And he didn’t.

I dunno, tell that to the folks who were complaining about the run-run-pass mentality.

And the above doesn’t explain how he still managed to fumble twice and throw a bad pick in the RZ, plus took several big sacks.  A run-first, ball control team (which is what we’re forced to be, not so much CHOOSE to be) cannot afford a QB who leaves points on the board like that.

Coming away with 0 there is as much on Zach as it was the play-calling/coaches.

A 3rd year Qb cannot treat that with such non-chalance and fail to just throw the ball out the back of the EZ as necessary.  Inexcusable.  The QB is the coach on the field.  Or at least he’s supposed to be.

Happy we won.  Not happy with HOW we won coming off the KC game.  Not optimistic about the remainder of the season.

The mission was to not let Payton get away with sh*tting on Hackett and they at least did that. Next week, keep it close against the Eagles, get into the BYE, and decide whether or not they want to compete for a playoff spot. If they want to compete, they should address two things at the break:

1. Go get a QB. Zach is worth negative points to this offense, and he’s choking the life out of the team. The Vikings are 1-4. Make that call. If not, you heard Matt Ryan talking about what ails the Jets today and he pointed the finger directly at the QB spot. Matt Ryan sucks, but even putting a neutral value guy behind center is better than what we have now. Stop ******* around with this. 

2. CJ Mosely has to be in a rotation at MLB, and should never be on the field on 3rd and >2. What ever happened to the Jamien Sherwood project? Maybe let Amos play that nickel LB spot?

Suffice it to say we’ve seen this before.  Like, I dunno, LAST YEAR.  Except we were 5-2 prior to the meltdown as opposed to 2-3.

RW is going into the HOF and he looked like he needed full time nursing care on half of his drop backs.   If I was a family member I take his car keys away after that game.  Zach looked great in comparison.   I’d be comfortable letting Zach cross the street by himself.

zach played college for a Jr high in Utah.  He’s coming along.

I have to give the D credit.  I bag on them alot but they came through today.  Albiet against a bad offense.

Still though, I have 0 confidence going into a game that we will win.  We just arent very good.

Zach Wilson, was mediocre at best. The best throw of the game was to Conklin on the 3rd and 5 at the end, what did he do at the end of that drive, gave the ball away. Again, they should have come away with points on that drive, just like the end of the 1st half, and they did not.

When they’re as f**king stupid as Zach’s are you bet.  You’re lucky I’m not counting his shenanigans at the end of the half as a turnover.  Because in essence…it was.
