Can we do better?

Recommended Posts

There has not been quality on this board this off season.

Not at all.

Aaron Rodgers has been a lightning bolt for the whiners  and haters since he came here.

Keeping the offensive coaching staff has been unbearable.

People the adults the intellectuals have just become corrosive.

Hatred is everywhere you can see it.

I thought that one long thread was one of the better threads this season.

If it's Jet-related and the story happens to veer into Crazy Town that is more a symptom of this team and society and we are merely sheep and cows baaaah'ing and moo'ing at the absurdity.

But overall, yes let's try to keep it classy and lock free folks.

We’re back baby.

As long as things don't devolve into name calling or threatening gestures , healthy discourse on politics is what this country was built on ... That being said ... Probably better for the lounge or any other forum.

2 of the “hottest” threads on the NYJ forum right now are political and divisive, and are delving too far into the other half of AR that most of us do our best to avoid. I know they’re technically Jet related but I’m sure we could all agree it’s basically clickbait material that only detracts from the quality of this board. We’re in the middle of free agency and our main forum is starting to look more like a tabloid.

Speaks volumes about how free agency is going.  The offseason is all we have.
Our 40 year old pied piper is having the time of his life.

Yep, see it all the time. People start randomly pontificating about "soy" or "the left" etc. Brain-poisoned.

Quarterback is done nothing wrong whatsoever.

He got hurt.

He is an attention whore who forces his name into the spotlight and tries to keep it there.

This was his act in Green Bay and is his act here

Don't blame people for responding to a guy that shoves his face and opinions into the spot light endlessly and pretends to be the smartest man on earth.

There will be no Rodgers threads if he keeps his face out of the spot light, ....that is not going to happen.

This type of discussion was inevitable when we traded for Rodgers.

I just wish some wins came along with him too.

Rodgers should have retired after he couldn't beat the Lions in the last game of the 2022 season. It wasn't the thumb. He's washed.

Is it our fault or is it the quarterback's fault?

Gms fault. We were about the only team in the NFL so desperate to hiring a 39 yr old mercenary qb because our gm was so bad his first 5 years.. If they’re “terms of office “ in football too, no way would JD still be the gm.

Lol. He was back to back MVP of the NFL in 2020 and 2021. He did play with a broken thumb on his throwing hard in 2022.. They probably should have sat him like most qbs would have anyway with that injury. Foolish to think that didn’t play a part in him from being best in NFL to barely above average.

Jets let farve play with torn bicep in on his throwing arm.. He played like garbage 2nd half of season as a result. Could have retired like a lil biatchh too, but got healthy and at 40 had 1 of best seasons of his HOF career with Vikings.
