    • I guess it depends how practices are being run. Are players being made to do drills in specific areas to sharpen up on where they are struggling? Or is everyone goofing around and taking it easy? Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
    • What offenses are doing today and what  offenses were doing in the Blake bortles era in Jacksonville are worlds apart. I’m not going to pretend I know how well or how poorly Hackett coached at each one of his stops….maybe he was a great OC at one point but it just doesn’t appear that he’s evolved with the league. We all know the Rodgers mvp years with Hackett but that isn’t relevant to today. That doesn’t help todays team score points.   maybe he is getting scape goated to some extent but if you watch any NFL game and then you watch what the jets were doing these last few weeks, you’d think the jets were running a pre season offense. no pre snap movements, no sneaky manufactured touches, no misdirection…pre snap motion has been minimal as well. No adjustments. Maybe that’s because that’s what Rodgers wants but he’s a player, things aren’t working. A good OC makes adjustments and finds ways to get the offense going. Hackett couldn’t do that.    I think what stands out to me as an example is the two RB sets with breece and Allen on the field at the same time. That package seems to produce big plays every single time it’s set up, yet it’s only used 2-3x a game. That package should be built up and implemented more if it’s working. With a broken run game, why not do some things that play to our strengths while keeping the defense off balance.
