So there were no exhibition games this year. But actually do those games really prove that much are they better than practices. Probably but as we have seen in the past you can have a good record pre-season and then play poorly regular season. No exhibition games might also help cut down on injuries. This game could be decided by field goal kickers. Hopefully Ficken has a good day. The guy he beat out, Brett Maher I saw he was signed on the Washington's practice squad.

Honestly my biggest concern for the Jets next to the WR situation is Gase's inability to adjust his game plan seemingly ever. I don't have the extreme view on Gase being a trash pile but I also have almost no faith in him and think he has just as much if a chance to hold this team back as he does to move them in a positive direction. Hopefully that changes this year.

Who is Max character who presumes to start the game day thread for the season opener?

I think we win today and cause experts and prognosticators everywhere to scramble and reexamine their season projections from both the Bills and the Jets.
