Popular Post Sonny Werblin
Taking Wilson at 2 and using some trade backs to complete new O line and run game. Also add some playmakers for the O. Saleh had better be really good at D because no help will be on the way until the 2022 draft.

mrcoops
Quite happy with this one. After the obvious pick at 2, Phillips was just too good value to pass at 23 - plus I didn't like the value of the OL that were left at that spot. Then a double dip at OL in round 2 and 3 with the best pure OG in the draft, and a big tackle who can shift inside as a rookie and challenge at RT in year 2. LB is a big need, and I really like the fit and value of Werner with the Seattle 3rd rounder, and then I got a RB I love in round 4. Round 5 brings some depth and talent at CB and WR, and I think both guys have a chance to be legit contributors for our team. Round 6 is my preferred late round flyer guy - a huge WR who was under-used in college but who has real talent, and could perform the role of a TE on passing downs. Should be a core ST asset too.

mrcoops
OK, I am seriously going to retire from mock drafting now, as I don't think I will ever top this one. New franchise QB, a big mean OL who can play G or RT for us, a C/G who has been compared to Nick Mangold, the best blocking TE/FB in the draft, a quality WR with starting potential, a quality RB with starting potential, a developmental edge with starting potential, a talented CB who would have been drafted much higher a year ago, my fave late round WR sleeper, and an athletic LB ideal for the 4-3...yes, I would be very happy if the Jets' draft goes anything like this one. Edit: just read that Caleb Kelly was granted a 6th year of eligibility and is going back to school. So replace him with Tuf Borland from Ohio State, who was also on the board - he isn't as good, but he has a cool name:

I tend to think Cosmi over Jenkins because he's a better athlete and team captain but I'm probably splitting hairs there. Think Humphrey will be a major target. Ditto Tremble. You got a couple other team captains in there too. I feel like Ben Mason is a layup too but I don't think Douglas will reach so maybe he lands elsewhere.

derp
I have mixed feelings about this but it’s as close as I’ve done to a semi-realistic result - Douglas is going to trade. Lots of high character, scheme versatile, athletic players, check off most of the needs including the ones that aren’t as obvious but I think he’s going to draft. I think Deablo is potentially a linebacker for Saleh but safety is a need a year out so I figure one or the other and he’s a high character dude. Wade I think could fit at corner but might kick to safety too.

BCJet
I think there is tremendous potential to move down from 23 and not only still get an OL but also pick up a late 2nd, early 3rd round pick. GreenReaper
Trying to make it realistic as far as drafting for needs. OT Jenkins starts at OG in 2021. Could move to RT in 2022. OT Moore is projected as a developmental swing guard or tackle.
