JetNation
With the NFL’s legal tampering period just hours away, we’re starting to hear rumblings about players that teams may pursue or cut ties with and that includes the Jets. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Jets are interested in re-signing speedy wide receiver Breshad Perriman while Rich Cimini mentioned the possibility of Kendrick Bourne and CB K’Wuan Williams among second-tier options. Jets also looking at bringing back Breshad Perriman, per sources. Might not get done but there's some mutual interest there. https://t.co/dcoYYyJtLB — Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) March 15, 2021 Playing for one of the NFL’s worst head coaches last season with a struggling Sam Darnold, Perriman had some stretches where he showed he has the ability to get behind a defense. If the move is to make Perriman or 4th receiver, it makes sense. If it’s with an eye at bringing him back to start, it won’t be well-received by the Jets faithful. Bourne and Williams make sense as rumored players given their familiarity with head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Mike Lafleur from their time together in San Francisco. Joe W. Namath
A low cost signing that can play for a year while the receiver we draft at 23 gets up to speed. This would go along with what joe Douglas has told us. We will be patiently building this through the draft. Beautiful!

Football fans have been waiting 6 years too see what he can do. He can get hurt, and drop a lot of easy receptions. That's what he can do. 3

jetstream23
Not surprised. At all. The cupboard is bare. Joe wants to fill the roster with bodies. Some of those bodies might even be warm.

TheNuuFaaolaExperience
You could do worse than Perriman on the back end of your WR corp.

BornJetsFan1983
cant reallyt see a problem wiht that, he is one of the few players we have that are nfl quality, he can play. the coaching staff shoudl be able to get him to produce. But I hope they are not expecting him to be the 1

LAD_Brooklyn
Would rather a 4th or 5th receiver with the ability to return punts or kicks.
KRL
No problem with Perriman as long as he's part of the WR corps and not the major signing. Showed excellent ability to track deep throws

rangerous
depends on what the jets want from perriman. he's not a no. 1 receiver. he played okay and did show some ability to get open deep and then make the catch.

kmnj
hey joe apologists is his plan to suck this year again? all part of the plan? will he give griffin more money again too? Perriman sucks -he proved that not only last year but in his previous jobs where he was not wanted. The folks that blame the qb-freaking Braxton Berrios had more catches last year and the same amount of tds Perriman is a jag and should be shown the door

Jets723
Why not? It would probably a 1 year deal to be the number 4 receiver. I’m fine with that

I’m fine with that because he sucks is soft and cant stay healthy and did not earn anything he was paid to do last year-sure lets pay him more.... he had less catches that a jag like Berrios who to his credit is a fighter
kmnj
Perriman costs the jets last year 3 mill salary 3 million signing bonus +450 k roster so lets just say 6 million in his pocket he had 30 catches so he was paid $200,000 per catch or if you want to do it on tds he was paid 2 million per td yes he is a LOCK to resign-sign the beast.... what is wrong with you people
jetstream23
I'd like Perriman much better as a WR3 or WR4 than a WR1.
