Yes, one of JD's biggest mistakes was not signing a legit vet QB2 this offseason, instead relying on Zach. But Joe Flacco aint it. I don't care if he happened to have 10TDs in the last 4 games or whatever the stat is on the Browns. He stinks. I watched him stink on the Jets. A spurt of quality play will not change my mind. As was Mike White, who was the obvious player to retain. The whole team knew Zach couldn’t play but for reasons they moved everyone else and sabotaged the season in the process. Every backup whose player extended snaps this season has been significantly better than Wilson. I don’t think Joe Douglas really knows how to evaluate talent, but he definitely knew Wilson could not play. He may turn into a serviceable backup one day but he’s never gona be anyone’s franchise starting qb Well m. He hasn't had time all year so not sure how you're calculating that. Time will tell .. I think it speaks more to the Jets than it does to Flacco. He didn't have a resurgence this year - he's just on a more talented and better coached team - so he looks better. But I do agree. I still can't figure out how this team has won 7 games last season and 6-7 games this season. Coaching can be overrated at times.
