Popular Post JohnnyLV
One thing to note is that many are grading AVT as a TACKLE and he is still a Top 20 grade. But at G where he will play for the Jets he may be the single safest pick in the entire draft. His floor is well above average G. Fantastic move by JD. As much as I went into this draft wanting OL/OL Elijah Moore would be such a good pick for us at 34

Let’s go get Jenkins today

Vader
JD had AVT as a top ten, generational LG. You don’t draft a LG in rd 1, let alone top 15, let alone TRADE UP FOR HIM otherwise. It does look like Ground n Pound 2.

Idiot franchises like the Jets sign Leveon Bell then expect him to run for 2,000 yards behind our crappy OL 2

Nixhead
Jets gave up a little much to move up for AVT but I guess they liked him a lot so hopefully he is worth it. 3rd down and 1 shouldn't be a problem any longer for the Jets - run right behind Becton and AVT - automatic 1st down! I'd be on board with you, this or one of the receivers depending on who it is. You happy with RD 1? If AVT is what JD thinks I believe we will be. Is Creed too rich at 34? I'd like some splash at a skill position but I won't balk at continuing to build a wall.
NYJ1
How about Creed Humphrey at 34? I like Jenkins but it seems to me Humphrey can become an elite Center.

I mean they must love AVT. Honestly, at 34 I don't care what they do - as long as it's offense. If I had the pick I would take Elijah Moore..A young dynamic slot receiver is exactly what this team needs. My guess is a trade down though. 1

My guess is a trade down though. It doesn’t HAVE to be offense. If there is a corner(a need) there they love or an edge then you gotta consider it too. I mean 3 of our last first rounders have been offense do they are focusing on that but it’s ok to build the entire team too
Popular Post dbatesman
Who knows if any of these guys will work out, but I do love that Douglas takes elite athletes. Watching us draft slugs like Polite and Hansen was really frustrating
