derp
In an ideal world there's a trade down in the first in the first instead of reaching and they can pick up a safety and maybe a defensive tackle somewhere with an extra pick or two but I like these fits and for now I'll pretend they address that stuff in free agency (and RG, which I expect them to address in free agency). Something like this framework where they take Dean/Lloyd if they slip and wait on TE or take a TE if they don't and someone like Muma in the third I think ticks short term and medium term boxes and adds guys who fit scheme, needs, etc. I don't really like Zappe all that much but think a developmental backup QB gets added somewhere, think grabbing McBride allows the flexibility to get one of the WR TE's in Whyle and try to bring him along instead of a blocker - but maybe not, I think a developmental center gets added somewhere day 3 and Parham seems really intriguing but was off the board, and had to double dip at edge somewhere - Williams and Ojabo would definitely add some athleticism assuming Williams checks out off the field.

Jimmy 2 Times
Traded back twice with our second 1st round pick. I edited both trades to make the compensation fair. I added a 2022 second along with a first and second in 2023 loading us up with four picks in the first two rounds again next year. Looking back, I probably should've just taken Ekwonu at 20, but I was fixated with adding Burks. He along with Bell were still on the board and I gambled one would still be there. -edge -#1 receiver added -double dipped at linebacker with the extra pick in round two -double dipped at tight end -added depth to both lines -dynamic RB to pair with Carter -secured massive draft capitol for 22 It's A LOT of rookies to add to a team, but now is the time to do it. JD needs to add a safety and an interior offensive lineman in free agency and we can probably fight for .500 in 2022. Four picks in the top 64 in 2023 can be used to fill the few remaining holes and hopefully start our run! *Edit- Yes, I liked my own post. This is a dream mock, lol.

Not a huge fan of taking lbs back to back that early. Would have much rather gone dt/cb/s. I saw that you went Garrett in the 4th, but you could have gotten someone much better than him in the second. Not sure how well Lucas fits in this scheme. He’s not great at moving in space. Would have much rather went Max Mitchell or Braxton Jones. Guys who have good lateral agility and more room for growth. Lucas seems fairly maxed out. id like it if this is how it played out though

BurntDice
Another non hutch/thib attempt. I really like how this one turned out. Trading up for Burks at the end of the first seemed like a no brainer and didn’t cost that much. Muma has been improving in the rankings every week so can’t really lock him in as the default 3rd round lb anymore, but asamoah seems like a good scheme fit. Kyler Gordon was on the freaks list which seems on par with what the coaching staff looks for in dbs. Highly athletic guys who they believe can be coached up to fit the d. I’m starting to really like the pairing of josh Whyle and someone like McBride. McBride is a really good balanced te and Whyle is basically an oversized wr

nycdan
Did a lot of these just to see if things changed much. I usually got Thibs at #4 (which i don't believe will happen) but then I had one where Thibs and Hutch were both gone, and I had an interesting trade offer. Very different path, but ended up with talent at the positions I had hoped for. Only did 3 rounds so I imagine the DBs will come later. But I like the talent and the picks next year.
