You have to admire the Patriots handling of a new QB their game plan plus the execution of it by Mac Jones. I’m not a Josh McDaniels fan but he’s done a great job with Jones. If I’m the Jets I watch this carefully and try to copy it.

If you are watching the broadcast, the announcer just said the Pats are last in the league in plays of 20 or more yards. The stats say he is a dink and dunk QB. He looks a lot like Pennington which isn't a bad thing. He's an accurate QB who knows where to go with the ball. That can get your far in this league.

I usually enjoy bye weeks because its a week off from watching a Jets loss but its actually more annoying realizing how many teams, some who are not even that good, are leaps and bounds further along then the 2021 Jets expnasion team

Jets hire another DC to pair with another rookie QB, guy hires his buddies little brother to be OC, and we're surprised the QB isn't developing properly?

Right?  Man, starting right before he was injured last season, you could see that Dak had gone to another level.  Now?  He's off the charts.  It's a cliche, but you can see that the game has slowed down for him.  He's seeing the field so well and making every throw.  Impressive.

Loved Dak in the draft, always was a decent kid but did something stupid and got a DUI at 22, and Cowboys get a top 10 QB in the 4th.

Imo Baker and Zach are in some ways facing the same issues regarding the offensive system around them. The system does not cater to their strengths nor does it help minimize their weaknesses. The system should cater to the QB, not the other way around.

Good play by the defender for sure.   Why doesn't the NFL make those team INTs and not on the QB?
