The play calling has been good but Mike White is playing within the system and the play calls while Wilson lacks in that department. White following the game plan helps LaFleur react to the defense in his play calling.

If White was constantly drifting backward out of the pocket and refusing to look at his open underneath receivers, the play calling somehow wouldn't seem so different.

Guys, none of this is all that complicated.

1) Zach Wilson clearly isn’t ready to be an NFL starter.

2) Mike White is a backup level QB who understands the position which is helping the offense move the football.

3) Joe Douglas should have brought in a better QB option that should have been starting week 1 while Wilson learned.
