I like those, as well - but I’ve always been a sucker for the sack exchange era look 

the throwbacks we wore on opening night are great - I’m really happy that those are going to be the new uniforms.

The retro jersey is very nice and if true, I’m glad to see them being used BUT the home green jersey that we have is the ugliest of them all. I’d rather keep our current whites and re do the ugly green ones.

I've been told it's official, they are going to the legacy jersey full time. Source appears to be credible.

I like the last uniforms we had but the logo was trash IMO. I really like the Legacy helmet, would love to see the inverse as well.

I remembered making a big jump in wins when Parcells switched us to the Namath unis, but I too was shocked at the other win bumps though.

Anything the team can do to distance themselves from anything Jamal Adams related is ok by me.

Go with the 80’s throwbacks we wore against Buffalo and Kansas City as the new uniform and wear the Namath/Parcells era uniform and helmet as our alternate a few times a year.

Get rid of the black completely. We’re the Jets, not the Raiders or Steelers.

I would have actually be ok with going back to the 1998-2018 jerseys if I knew that the color green they were using wouldn’t be a complete disaster that looks like the inside of a diaper worn by a baby that housed 5 jars of mashed peas.  I had to edit the sh*t out of this picture, which someone else had already edited, to make it not look like a diarrhea shade of green:

Even then, the legacy jerseys, to me, are a top 3-5 uniform in the league. It would be very hard to top them. Nike and the Jets nailed everything about them.  A green (primary) and white (secondary) variant is going to be beautiful.

personally if the Namath/Parcells era uniform is good and well received I would prefer those to be the primary as they are our classic uniform, but comfortable with moving forward on this plan right now. The Namath/Parcells era unfirom should be a white helmet with the racing stripe, but with 80's logo. No reason to bring back the oval football word mark logo no one cared for.

Correct. The 98-18 era unis were never “right” after Nike got the contract back. Weird patches and shades and disconnects — they could never get the white sleeves to look right.

Hopefully we have the helmet in my avatar with the sack exchange logo for the home green jerseys.

 

Imo, the sack exchange home green jerseys were awful and is the reason they wore white at home for years. 

For about ten years we were like the Cowboys Redskins and only wore green the we played at Miami in September, or at Dallas or Washington.

To be fair, I heard similar last year, @SomebodytoAnybody47 heard the same, now the “new” uniforms are being heavily discounted, the legacy uniforms have NOT been discounted, and other prominent uniform watch accounts (as ridiculous as that sounds, there is a decent community built around things like this) are chiming into Asman’s tweet mentioning that they have heard similar.
