Steelers always find themselves with guys like Fautanu falling in their lap

I like fautanu but his knees are bad. I have a feeling him and metlife turf wouldn't have meshed well lol.

Do wish he went to like... the rams or something. Somehere nfc

First - McDonald played, he just wasn’t a starter

second - what are the odds that Smith plays all 17 games? 10%? 5%? Less?

McD got 10-15% snap count - which I believe I read was one of the lowest for 1st round picks last season

2nd - remains to be seen but regardless they just drafted a swing tackle by definition is your backup LT

and he is rookie needs coaching up according to scouting report.

As a 40+ year old man, I wish I had the energy and general interest to be apoplectic that the Hets didn’t draft a TE in the first round of an NFL draft… in a league that dumps money into QB, OL, WR and nothing else in offense.

I think it's pretty clear he's going to.  And likely he'll trade up for one at some point in the 2nd round.

He gets a good wr tomorrow and this is a win draft on paper already.  He did right tonight by getting the quality tackle.

Aaron has never used the TE.  When he met with bowers it was probably a courtesy call to dumb Woody.

and then he told woody draft best OT

In GB he had no reason too….here we don’t have all the WR’s they did.

“Ugh, we actually have legit depth at offensive tackle and a long term replacement for our aging all-pro left tackle. This sucks.”

- said no one EVER

How do you like the pick ?

hes a natural left tackle, hand size pending

i like that he's got good film vs Ohio st and Michigan

he's gonna play THIS YEAR Jets fans don't realize the actual health situations with Smith and Moses

he comps like Brick not as long but a finesse wall off dude who can really pass block and is only marginal at run blocking

This fat **** better get another weapon

Gentlemen, consider that Tyler Boyd, OBJ, Hunter Renfrow, Michael Gallup, and more are still free agents. We can find guys tomorrow and in free agency who can be great wr3s for a short term playoff team (or long term in the draft).

Finding OTs in free agency or trades is much, much harder .

If he has brick’s career that’s fine.  Decent run blocker good pass blocker.  I’ll take a B+ LT for a decade or more.

Douglas himself just said that Bowers was one of the finalists and they had 9 non-QB’s from this class rated as “impact” players.

Hughes is trash and I don’t know why people give him the time of day.

Possibly 1 or 2 games but if Jets have their way it will be zero. I'll probably be happy in 3 years but for now it's just a snoozer.

i think fashanu plays like 6-8 games this year at both OT positions
