slimjasi
This notion that Hack's big issue was his throwing motion is pure bullsh*t. In the limited time in which we saw him in preseason, he couldn't read the field, had terrible instincts for the position, and was not very accurate. Hopefully, he fixed some of that stuff. Just glancing at the rosters, the kickers seem to be a strength, in making the appearance of the league as "legitimate". So in typical modern day sports league fashion, they make rule changes to further minimize the position. Same case with the "onside kick substitute". Ten yards from the 35, at least seems reasonable, both as a gamble and risk/reward. So of course they have to "tweak it" making it less reasonable. Typical. PS Seems like Hackensh*t will not be the starter, even in this league. Bet Mettenberger beats him out. I need to see that rule play out. If a team is good enough, they can keep the ball for the entire game. At least that’s what I get from it.

BroadwayRay
I didn't realize they had so many ex-Jets. Macc and Idzik could really rack up some bucks if the league paid finders fees for their players.

(I'm assuming every team in the league would play week 1). EDIT: Teams I'd be most likely to adopt based on city would be San Diego, Arizona and Memphis. I just looked at the ex-Jets though and I'll probably have to choose between Memphis (Hackenberg) and Atlanta (Matt Simms).

jetstream23
Let's go Hotshots! Anyone who doesn't know the story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots or the origin of the team name can watch the video below. I think it's a fantastic way to honor a bunch of guys who died serving our communities and our state. If you're FDNY or have family or a friend who spends his/her time fighting fires then this is your team! ....and they wear green.
