Trade Lee for Nelson Agholor

Recommended Posts

Why not... The eagles were looking to get rid of Agholor because he costs 9.3 Mil against the cap and they drafted Whiteside... and they were reportedly interested in trading down from the 2nd to the 3rd for Lee which is about a 4th round value... Jets are also nearly 20 Mil under the cap.

The Jets could use an outside WR...

makes too much sense.

The kid drops way too many passes.

Not sure if he crossed over with Sam at all.

Agholor is more of a slot WR than an outside WR. We already have Crowder and Enunwa.

Nelson is an inside WR but I’d do it. More weapons the better.

Yes he does play slot but he started playing on the outside for his first 2 years.

Probably because he sucks. He is arguably worse than all of our top three recievers

We'll trade D for O at this point, but I'd rather trade Lee for a Center that GB or Dallas no longer needs since they drafted top end Centers. We are much thinner at Center than WR right now with a journey man starting and 2 raw kids that have yet to take an NFL snap.

Always liked this player, but he never seems to live up to his potential.  Eagles have waited for years for him to make the move to the next level, and have paid him with that thought in mind.  Even moved him around positionally.

Now, having exhausted their patience, and saddled with an underperforming contract, they want to dump him. Good for them.  Potentially bad for us.  No thanks.  Shame.

Thats not a problem like it was his first year. He was damn near released and came back with a vengeance. Plays with confidence and plays outside and inside

Another possibility is Josh Doctson.  A bust with the Washington Foreskins but he would give us depth plus Washington loves our trash sometimes maybe they want Lee

Or Laquon treadwell.  Also a bust for the vikes, but maybe Gase sees something that could be helped.

The thing is that Lee is actually not a terrible player.  Especially compared to these busts like Dotson and Treadwell.

I dont think we need to be pulling a trade for a guy who woukd be the 4th best reciever on this team.

Well Lee is the 4th best linebacker on the Jets. Even trade. But honestly hold out for a center. I think Lee has more value to the Jets than Agholor would anyway.

They both stink, and like most said this doesn’t solve the where does Lee play, it creates the same issue with Aghlor where does he fit in 3rd string slot WR behind Q, and Crowder?  Like the idea just not the player.  Lee would be the more valuable 3rd stringer IMO.

That's true but it doesn't mean he was good at it. Plus he due over 9 million in 2019 He's not worth that. I'd wait someone else might get cut.

What team has stars as their 4 and 5 recievers?  No team has depth after 3 guys.

That doesn't mean we should pass on depth if the opportunity comes.

Lord knows how miserable the Bears game was to watch with Robby and Quincy out.

Lee is a bust too.  LBs who play every down are going to get tackled no matter what even the boarhunter Anthony Schlegel did when the bengals signed him off the street and started him because their entire defense was injured

Agholor, Doctson, Treadwell — would all be depth until Q inevitably gets injured
