Hope your wrong. A full court press is in order for him. Signing with the Jag's or Giant's would be a big loss in my book for JD. He needs to sell the Jet's future to him, and cough up some big money.

I suspect he'll be one of the first to agree to a deal, so by this time next week we should know one way or the other.

I fully expect JD to make a full court press.  I mean the guy is a perfect fit for what we need and the scheme we are going to run.

Probably not.

Not like we haven’t seen this before. He’ll go to a team that seems to not really seem to need him instead.  Just a weird Jets thing.

Becton Thuney McGovern draft a RG and Fant.

vastly improved from 2019 and 2020

I think Eiflein has earned a spot on the line this year, either at LG (where he had some chemistry with Becton) or at RG depending on who else we add in FA and the draft

One thing is for sure...those holding penalties will go up once he leaves the Pats...

This is a legit buyer beware factor.  I literally laughed when the giants gave all that money to nate solder.

Also a reason for teams to steer clear of Stephon Gilmore.

A dozen teams will be after thuney.

Imagine having Sewell at left tackle, Thuney, McGovern, move Fant to right guard, and Becton at right tackle.

Top 3 offensive lines in the NFL.  Could Sam succeed with that offensive line?

Same. Washington tagging Scherff & making Thuney the undisputed best G on the market in a offensive line hungry league has made it really difficult for me to see the Jets coming away with him unless he’s just really interested in making a ton of money in a big market.
