I kind of read it as he thinks Wilson is good enough to get picked #1. This does not necessarily mean he thinks Trevor shouldn’t have been the first pick. There were two QBs worthy of the 1st pick this year. Our coaching staff felt the same way. Reading the book “all the pieces matter” drove home how unique the circumstances and people were to have the show come together.
