He is vaccinated. Just moving forward teams should have rules that players need to be completely quarantined during the season if a positive test is going to make you miss a game. Wilson was at the BYU game last night- why???? Just not necessary. There are going to be more players miss games than last year, which is nuts.

If he is in shape physically and mentally it could be a great match for Bell because they’re smart enough on how to use him. I might still be a sucker for him but always thought his value was more as a receiving back than a feature runner. And now he doesn’t have enough left in the tank for that. I always thought he could have been a great 3rd down option for Sam. As a receiver out of the backfield.

You can still spread the virus even if you’ve been vaccinated and don’t have symptoms. They have slightly different quarantine rules for those players vaccinated though.

I’m talking about Zuniga and the LB that just got released by the Raiders.

Wilson was at the BYU game last night- why???? Just not necessary. There are going to be more players miss games than last year, which is nuts. Actually, all evidence suggests that this year will be much "worse" than last year for the NFL (as opposed to the rest of us - that is unknown). You're correct about the need for the Jets to be paranoid about quarantine in the name of reducing the quantity and length of COVID suspensions. It is purely a need to protect the bottom line and the won-loss record. This is not politics. It's business and sport. While Americans who have been vaccinated will catch the illness far less often than the unvaccinated crowd, there are two additional factors. First, is the severity of the illness. A vaccinated person has a low statistical chance of getting a severe case of COVID. An unvaccinated person has the standard chances of getting a severe case. The inventors of the vaccines made clear they decrease your chances of getting COVID but they did not promise immunity. Instead, they said the vaccine will keep the virus from progressing to the point that it requires hospitalization and threatens your long, medium and short term health. This means that people are going to test positive, vaccinated or not. This is a competitive issue that will go on all season. Just as coaches work to prevent false starts and holding penalties because they are trying to win, preventing positive COVID tests allows you to keep you 1s on the field. When your 1s play their 2s, you win. The second factor at work here is the virus itself. All evidence suggests that the new variants of the disease are FAR more contagious than last year's COVID. Given the large numbers of unvaccinated Americans, the virus will spread far and wide this year. I expect lots of positive tests. Vaccinated deaths are very rare but have been reported. Unvaccinated deaths occur in large numbers every day. The team that most effectively enforces their COVID protocols will gain a competitive advantage on the playing field. An advantage that grows as the year progresses. Wilson should not have been at the BYU game imo. They sequester juries. Improvise, adapt, overcome. 5

C Mart
LARAMIE — Make no mistake, Josh Allen was the headliner at Wyoming football’s Pro Day on Friday. Allen’s prospects as a projected first-round selection in the upcoming NFL Draft brought television crews from both NFL Network and ESPN, as well as a bevy of NFL scouts and coaches. But Rico Gafford made for one heck of an opener. The former Cowboys cornerback opened some eyes with his 36 1/2 vertical jump. Then, he made them double take with a pair of 40-yard dashes that the Star-Tribune unofficially timed at 4.26 and 4.23 seconds. One scout had Gafford at 4.19.
