varjet Posted October 1, 2023 Share Posted October 1, 2023 Notwithstanding Bill Parcells’ criteria for drafting a QB, which is more right than wrong, and the mistakes the Jets made in picking Sanchez, Darnold and Wilson, unfortunately JD has displayed complete cluelessness in managing the QB position. This guy could have been a great addition like Purdy was in SF. He was obviously afraid to draft another QB with Wilson on the roster. To me, this points to letting JD and Saleh play out their contracts with Aaron Rodgers, and then replacing them for 2025. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. JD can’t be allowed to manage the QB position again. Aidan O’Connell, and Kelly Pickett, despite some physical limitations showed that they could process the QB position. Wilson cannot.
