I think it is obvious Rodgers wants to reach legendary status.  

This is about more than Achilles recovery.  He wants to bring a SB to this cursed franchise.  Even if he didn’t fully understand how bad the curse is and how psychologically damaged the fan base is, he does now.

Rodgers was dumb prior to joining the Jets. It's why he was really the only choice.

This is really not new news if you saw the Pat McAfee show Tuesday with AR, he said this was the case.  Jets being in playoff hunt and his return are mutually exclusive.
