Looks like we'll beat them to it!! Their issue is the league only allows one helmet and it would clash with the current helmet. So they're trying to push to allow an alternate helmet. And when I spoke to the helmet manufacturer I asked about wraps on the helmets to change the base color and he explained that the wraps hide potential cracks in the plastic and damage to the shell which are the tell-tale signs of something that could potentially injure a player.
