Thats not the offense though, even when Johnson, White, Flacco were under center there wasn't really anything deep..

It’s hard to do with the receivers he’s forced to work with today (and last week).  Really sucks that Mims can’t get on the field because he’s missing a golden opportunity to showcase himself.

I was responding to someone who said "bad pass strike one".  I've seen people say it was tipped, but I can't claim it directly because I can't rewind. I wasn't complaining about anything.

Gumbel is a quality announcer, but you are correct about him deteriorating. He used to be on the premium announcing teams.

exactly.  He' playing within the offense.

Isn't that what we were told they wanted him to do when he was dropping back, planting his feet and throwing deep?

Moreover, let's remember who our WR's are today.  We don't have anyone that can really get open deep.
