But it’s just a wish at this point. He saw what we all did. ZW is completely overwhelmed and broken. He doesn’t know ZW will turn things around any more than anybody could have predicted Geno would be good 8 years later. He sounds like a desperate man trying to save his job. And taking backhanded shots at the franchise (“if there’s any franchise who should understand not to give up on players too soon, it’s this one”) you currently work for is ridiculous.
