Sammybighead
Can we get back to pining over rodgers? This thread is getting derailed by bitonti's misery. Seriously though, i need this trade now. I dont think i can go another week listening to GB fans now thinking they getting a 1 and 2x 2nds. Especially after giving up on an ultra talented receiver like Moore. Enough is enough, you guys negotiated, you both need it to happen for various reasons, just freaking pull the trigger already.

Felt for years they literally weren't trying at all, barely participating. So this hot mess reactionary nonsense after drafting top 3 worst top 3 QB of all time at number 2 is an improvement to them going into a season with a roster of guys who couldn't even start on most NFL rosters. So for the first time in a decade they have rightfully earned that Participation Trophy pal!

Dcat
and I thought I was the only one to fall into the Bit-trap this off-season. Think of Bit's bit as comedy. Still allows the Packers to fill some holes this year instead of throwing Love to the wolves. Except that what’s out there to sign long after free agency. Cupboard isn’t bare. They get a TE, receiver and oline depth the offense is set. The defense is where the holes are. But offense comes first. I’d rather be done with his dead cap in2023 while Love is cheap and be able to kind of open another Super Bowl window in a year or two (if Love pans out)

Peterson nearly broke the rushing record coming back from an ACL. It's not the death sentence that it used to be. @bitonti has a valid point though. I'm very concerned about Breece's comeback. True, Peterson did come back quickly and so did Dalvin Cook but those guys are more one cut power backs. Breece's game is incredible speed and quickness with sharp cuts which may take a longer time to recover. Breece and Saquon are kind of similar styes. We all saw Saquon's diminished skill one year after. He was a 4.7 yds/carry guy. Came back the next year at 3.7 and looked less quick. Two years later (last year) he regained most of his quickness. This may be what we see from Breece. JK Dobbins is not the same style runner as Breece, but has not been the same since his acl tear. At the end of the day the Packers need the Jets more, their cap is a mess. There are still options out there, and the Jets can pivot to them. ie. Lamar, Tannehill, Ryan etc. Are they as good as the Rodgers situation, no, but they are viable options. The Packers playing hardball through training camp exposes them to Aaron showing up and possible getting hurt.
