The expressions that come to mind are even a blind squirrel can find an acorn and then definitely take the money and run. He's an idiot who's made a clinic of drafting poorly outside his first round picks (typically ultra-high 1st round picks at that), and having backwards priorities even when he's "hit" on them. Not to mention the hundreds of millions poorly invested in his veteran contracts. Bowles isn't doing him many favors, but he's not done Bowles many favors either.
