SO we want to Trade Bell and Adams and keep GAse?

Recommended Posts

Reports and commentary everywhere how we want to trade bell and Adams both legit play makers - literally the best RB and S we have ever had. - yes ever. (name someone better at the position talent wise - free heads up , you cant)

But we want to keep Gase - literally the worst the coach we have ever had.

How ******* stupid is this franchise.

I personally want the Jets to be good again.  I don't know if that is accomplished by keeping Adams and Bell or trading them.  I'm willing to trust Douglas to make that decision for now.

That's my hard hitting take.

in the end, NYJ dont give a rats what the hell we would do in the fantasy world where WE

make the big decisions.

we KNOW the former GM left us with a poor roster.

I JD we (waryingly) TRUST

Good to see you just read the CBS article about possible trades

How stupid is it to read suggestions of options for the Jets, opinions of those who think they have solutions and then claim that this is what the Jets will do without a shred of evidence that this is what they will do?  To claim that IF they take this commentary and actually do what's being suggested as a given then they're stupid.

And one more time, stop trying to make Gase out as a worse HC than Kotite.  Thats nonsense on any level

It wont be accomplished with Gase as the HC.  Another blunder by the Johnsons.  They have been *DUPED* by a charlatan.

Kerry Rhodes his 1st 3 years:  10 ints, 2 fumble recoveries,  8 sacks, 30 passes defended, 270 combined tackles.

The Prez: 2 ints, 4 fumble recoveries, 12 sacks 24 passes defended, 261 combined tackles.

Rhodes was better and he was not lining up at the los on every play running forward.

One was a Free Safety, one a Strong Safety. Rhodes a better cover guy, Adams better tackler, blitz’er. Personally I like both players.

Rhodes with his 10 ints had more impact , too bad he went cuckoo shortly there after.

Most SS do not go forward near as much as out guy does, which compromises the rest of the defense.

let's see.  the jets just came off of back to back 4 win seasons and now have 5 wins with 3 games to play.  and you call gase the worst coach?  and i can tell you aren't old enough to see charlie winner or lou holtz or bruce coslet in action.  and don't forget that rex the magnificent also managed a 4 win season.  sheesh give the guy a break.  sometimes you just can't use playmakers because the other pieces that help the playmakers just aren't there.

Personally?

I want to trade Bell and Adams and fire Gase.

Douglas can hire his guy, without a debt of "got me this job" hanging over his head.

I also want the Coach to answer to the GM who answers to a Pres. of Football Operations, not the Owners.

We don't always get what we want, but with that said, I fully expect Adams and Bell to be in other uniforms in 2020 and Gase to be on our sideline.

Good, we would be stupid not to. We are a team that's been constructed backwards. We have the star RB with no line, or #1 WR & the star safety with no passrush or corners. Both are luxuries we cant afford. JA and LB are 2 of the few assets we have that are worth anything. In their current situation their precense on the field obviously doesnt effect the W-L column. Adams has I think 10 wins in 3 years with this team? Bell and especially Jamal should bring in a huge bounty of picks, and if they yield quality offensive players...well that's really what this team needs... as for Gase still being here that's another story.
