RB isn't a huge priority for me. I think if you fix the o line Bell will be fine. And if not then you address the RB position next year

And I'm sure this isn't a popular opinion but I'm not so high on JT.

Did you know the only qb in Wisconsin history to throw for more than 3000 yards In a season is Russel Wilson. They literally never throw the ball, so his stats are super inflated. Wisconsin also has one of the best offensive lines in college football. 

The only good RB to come out of Wisconsin that I can remember is Melvin Gordon. (who coincidentally is a free agent) Gordon averaged something like 8 yards a carry and 2600 yards in a season. Will he be better than Gordon. Possibly. It's also possible hes Ron dayne (Who was drafted 11th overall) or Monte ball. Either way I don't think it's smart to use a high first round pick on a RB. Especially because I don't think this kid is on the same level as a Zeke, Saquon, or a Mccafrey.

Doesn’t matter the hindsight scouts are never wrong .. 

That being said if Simmons is there you have to consider it he is complete freak of nature .. AJ isn’t a good fit here imo. He isn’t true Edge/speed olb type . And jets fans would lose it drafting essentially another Dlinemen. 
 

but tbh overall One of the Top 3 OT or Top 2 WR is all I want in rd 1. I’m all for taking a RB with one of 3rds or the 4th tho. Doubt Taylor falls to those picks but anything is possible .

I would still take any of the OT’s over him for us, but if you go defense, I have my money that he’ll be better than C Young

I mean, maybe? But it’s weird that Clemson doesn’t use him that way, and it’s be balls to draft a guy at 11 with the intent of asking him to do something he’s hasn’t done as yet

good thread Sarge (as always)- surprised we did not see Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn on the list to really spark some conversation - bet he runs fast for a DT LOL

I voted and would not be happy with any of the players on the list - I think the Jets needs players who help Sam, Taylor does that but I like Bell and not sure Taylor is much better than Dobbins so no bueno at #11

Jets need CB and Edge help but unless Okudah fell to 11 - I would not be happy (IMHO Okudah is the only plug an play prospect in those roles, plenty of kids with upside but Jets have little room for chance and a history of busts - now if the Jets could trade down and get one of these players later in the first in addition to OL I would be open
