Cimini from the top rope!

among the beaters there are two types of journalists covering these teams at the local level

the "Company man" and the "team-hater"

both attract clicks for different reasons. what doesn't attract clicks is an unbiased, realistic (if somewhat depressing) account of what's really going on under the hood

i don't know maybe that would work in Green Bay or Pittsburgh where the team is well run

but to bash Manish is a distraction, to root for Gase to get fired is another distraction all of these things distract from the putrid rotting meat pile that is the roster

Some teams like WFT ban the "team haters" and all you get are the company men saying how great it is

that's not a better way forward

end of the day  - none of these things are the same as winning games. It's not Cimini or Mehta's fault that this team is an armpit

us fans love to shoot the messenger tho,  and Jets fans maybe more than most

like it's the messenger's fault he's bringing the bad news

If that was what he had actually said, he'd have been spot on.  What he ACTUALLY said is its a privilege for journalists to cover athletes.  As in all journalists.  Not just NYC.  Which is a pure d**k comment to make.

It's the most privileged profession in the f*cking world. They get to cover a sport most people watch anyways and are held to absolutely zero standards. He was 100% correct.

Cimini, Manish - They're only two associated with the Jets. This sh*t is prevalent all over the league, Just sh*t stirring assholes trying to drum up controversy to generate clicks. That's the job. It's not just limited to the NFL - Exact same garbage over here with soccer.

Well in fairness, that might have something to do with the fact that the noodle himself was very much one of the "Talentless privileged wankers who are more obsessed with clickbait than reality."

It’s ridiculous to cite question-asker when reporting on a press conference response. Cimini overreaching.

Perhaps, but there is a 'retweet' function where you can then add your thoughts.  Manish *could* have done that but then he'd be exposing his lack of direct access so he took the sneaky route and got called out.  Honestly, let them chew each other up and maybe we can get some new blood in that wants to do it better.

He brought it on himself, and continues to do so.

Besides, we kick @Pac around all the time.  Where are you when that happens?

@Pac is not down. He only recently emerged from primordial goo as an amorphous, barely sentient blob. The rock he lives under now is a penthouse in comparison

Has anyone been able to confirm for certain that Mehta's credentials have been pulled by the NFL? I mean I guess tweets like this kind of confirm it but still.

He definitely doesn't have Jets press passes. Just covering the team for the Daily News. But not access to Florham Park or Metlife.

Is that you, Chadwick?
